Western Wealth Capital Acquires Winters Creek Apartment Homes in Doraville, Georgia

North Vancouver, Canada (October 6th, 2021) – Western Wealth Capital (WWC) announces the closing of its 107th multifamily real estate acquisition – Winters Creek Apartment Homes in Doraville, Georgia. This is Western Wealth Capital’s fifth multifamily acquisition in the Atlanta Metro area.

WWC and its investment partners closed on the 200-unit multifamily apartment community of Winters Creek Apartment Homes, originally constructed in 1983. This Atlanta-area deal further solidifies WWC’s footprint in the U.S. multifamily housing market and follows WWC’s disciplined investment criteria.

Winters Creek is in Doraville, which is dominated by the I-85 North Corridor – the largest industrial corridor in Atlanta with 163 million square feet of industrial warehouse and distribution center space. Major employers in the area include Amazon, UPS, and FedEx. 8-minutes northwest of Winters Creek is the Atlanta Technology Park with over 100 technology offices. This property is a prime candidate for WWC’s repeatable value-add program, including exterior and interior renovations, and most units have washer/dryer connections ready to be activated with machines.

“The Atlanta multifamily market has performed exceptionally well,” says Len Bravo, Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at WWC. “Steady population and employment increases have driven renter demand which has resulted in outstanding lease over lease rent increases. WWC prides itself in making significant capital investments into each community it purchases which drives value for years to come. We are thrilled to offer investors a fifth opportunity to invest in this growing multifamily market.”

WWC has acquired 107 multifamily rental buildings, representing $3.8 billion in acquisitions. The company’s current portfolio of assets under management includes 59 multifamily rental buildings totalling more than 15,000 units.
